How to train your puppy starts right here!  Time flies when you're on the pup journey & you'll know by now that your puppy is absorbing new information all the time & desperate to learn - it's time for puppy school!  Join me at Step 3 Life Skills ...its a fab puppy training resource - I'm not going to teach you tricks, I'm going to give you essential, core life skills that ensure your puppy becomes a 'take anywhere polite pet' for all your family adventures!​​​

How Does This Work?

WHAT IS LIFE SKILLS?

  • 3 x 30 min personalised & tailored 1 to 1 puppy training classes via Zoom calls covering core life skill areas 

WHO'S LIFE SKILLS FOR?

  • Puppy parents continuing from Step 2 - Welcome Puppy

  • Any puppy parent with a suitable aged pup

  • Great puppy training for beginners or more experience puppy parents

WHAT AGE OF PUP IS LIFE SKILLS FOR?

  • A typical guide would be from 14 weeks

WHERE DO I GO AFTER LIFE SKILLS?

Life Skills maybe the last step on the puppy journey but my help continues right up until your pup's 1st birthday - schedule as many quick & easy Geek Check-Ins as you need!

WANT A POLITE PUPPY? - Start Here! 

Dogs are what we make them & no-one likes rude, obnoxious dogs! By now after following Steps 1 & 2 both you & your puppy have a great foundation to start life skills training.

I'm not going to teach you tricks, I'm going to teach you & your puppy essential manners, social skills, appropriate meetings & greetings, how to self-calm - basically everything you need to have a well-adjusted, polite puppy as he or she grows into adulthood.  Start out the right way & enjoy having a 'take anywhere' dog who's a pleasure to live with!

I'm going to make Life Skills super simple & easy to digest for your puppy in short - 3 x 30 min personalized 1 to 1 puppy training classes  - you'll get the very best puppy training advice & remember these are totally tailored to you, ask any questions you want!

LIFE SKILLS - WHAT WILL WE LEARN?

  • Helping your puppy learn quickly & stay focused without getting bored - 3 x 30 mins sessions covering 3 core Life Skills areas

  • Ensuring your puppy learns well at the times they are comfortable - Sessions which best fit you both in the comfort of your own home

Session 1

CALM & POLITE
PUPPY

Teaching Puppy:

  • What's my name?

  • Be calm & settled

  • Be patient

  • Have great house manners

Session 2

WELL MANNERED PUPPY

Teaching Puppy:

  • lying down calmly

  • Stand well for grooming/basic care

  • Come back is fun!

  • Walk well on lead​

GOOD SOCIAL SKILLS

Teaching Puppy:

  • Great 'leave'

  • No jumping

  • Calm meeting/ greeting of people & dogs

  • You are more exciting than worldly distractions!

 You & your puppy will learn all of these vital skills
