What is Puppy Geek?

Puppy Geek is a 100% online solution to help you a) plan & source your new puppy, b) welcome your new puppy into your home and make that transition as seamless and problem free as possible and then c) offer you personalised 1 to 1 life skills 'polite puppy' training. You also have the option of arranging check-ins to ensure any niggles are ironed out up to your puppy's first birthday. Puppy Geek is completely tailored to you & your puppy.
What is the age 'cut-off' for Puppy Geek?

Puppy Geek is designed to assist puppies up until their first birthday
Do I need anything prior to a Puppy Geek Session?

Puppy Geek sessions are completely tailored to you & your puppy & your particular issues, requirements, planning, advice for you both, little niggles, concerns etc. I'd always recommend that you write a list before your session containing everything you'd like to ask, because it's so easy to get a 'blank mind' when it comes to our chat or forget something! If that ever should happen, no need to worry, I'll be taking you through everything that's important at the particular step you've enrolled on.
Specific advice re: Step 3 Life Skills online puppy school

For Step 3 Life Skills, when we're starting puppy school, you & your puppy will need to be in a room with as few distractions as possible! I know it isn't always possible to have a super quiet place & having some 'busy-ness in the background' is what puppy will have to adapt to in real life after all. Our Life Skills sessions are short & sweet at 30 mins, so just aim for a comfortable, quiet place where it's just you & pup or maybe one other person who'd like to be involved, for instance a child.
Do I have to enroll on all 3 puppy options?

No you don't but the 3 options are designed to work consecutively so that you have a perfectly worked plan from thinking about having your puppy join your family, welcoming your puppy through to teaching all those important life skills
What if there's a wifi issue/technical problem during our session?

Don't worry, things happen and there's always a workaround
What computer/tech know-how do I need to enroll on Puppy Geek?

If you can read this FAQ you can enroll on Puppy Geek! Absolutely no 'tech knowledge' is required. You will receive a Zoom link to click & open & that's it - nothing to download. Puppy Geek options can taken on a standard PC, phone or tablet.
What age can my puppy enroll with Puppy Geek?

Step 1 - Thinking Stages is designed for you to enroll in when your puppy may still be a 'glint in the eye' & not yet born or up to 8 weeks
What if I need more help after I've enrolled in all 3 options?

Help is always at hand! I have handy 30 min check-ins available which you can book at any time convenient to you
How long is a Puppy Geek Session?

The duration of your Puppy Geek option is outlined online, typically 30 mins or 1hr maximum - the session will strictly adhere to this time-frame and will not overrun
I've only just seen Puppy Geek & already have my puppy, can I start at Step 2 Welcome Puppy?

Yes of course! Whilst Puppy Geek is designed to take you through the whole puppy journey, from the thinking stages through to teaching all those important life skills, you can certainly start part-way through
